Pa crew were dismissed one hour earlier to set up for the concert. We did a rough run thru in the hall cuz the other time during the rehearsal we did not get to practise. the rehearsal had clashed with the CO practice, end up we can't rehearse properly, the they also cannot start practising. Anyway we got ready and waited for the concert to start. Suddenly they inform us there's change in plan, then we quickly change our set up too. it was so exciting lo. erm.. maybe more of scary la. haha. end up had some hipcups here and there, such as knob not turned on, causing mi to run out to turn it on. oh mans.. most funny was that adi's guitar had a line output that is positioned at a super unusual place. Feel so stupid cuz i was not able to find it. The output was at the strap there and all of us thot it was just any hole used to secure the guitar strap. look so stupid n stage trying to find it. :(
Anyway had learnt much from this backstage experience. Although there's lack of communication, but i think everyone had dobe a great job though!!
PA ROX!! :)
after that, we had a short debrief and all of us proceeded to the grandstand. PA had a birthday gift and we r supposed to open it!! haha. The sch had kindly purchased 2 new large speakers, total costing near 2k. each speaker is 41kg!!! ^^ can't believe it! anyway we set it up and waited for the professional people to help adjust the equalizer so as to minimise the feedbacks. it was super cool cuz we had not max the volume of the speakers but the speakers were already blasting their way in sch le, even causing the ground to vibrate!! Cool Man!!! lolx.
Happy Birthday to PA!! lolx.
i love you* @ 10:38 PM
